GREGORY M. LAMB - Attorney
Before joining Stringham & Lamb, Gregory M. Lamb had litigated nearly every kind of criminal case both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney. Mr. Lamb has tried all sorts of cases ranging from misdemeanors to murder, taking cases to successful jury outcomes. He has extensive jury trial experience having tried homicides, sex offenses, felony thefts, drug offenses, assault, and numerous other misdemeanors and felonies.
While serving as a prosecuting attorney for the state of Utah, Mr. Lamb prosecuted all the felony level sex crimes and child abuse crimes in his jurisdiction. He has specific expertise in the area of alleged sex crimes. Mr. Lamb's state representation focused on offenses such as rape and aggravated sexual abuse and child sex crimes. Mr. Lamb has a unique insight into how to navigate the complicated nature of these offenses through the justice system. Whether a complex high level offense or a minor run-in with the law, Mr. Lamb has a very successful track record in the litigation of all types of criminal charges.
Mr. Lamb also has an extensive history and knowledge of the juvenile court, having worked in that legal system as a child lawyer, prosecutor, and parental defense attorney. Even prior to legal representation in these areas, Mr. Lamb worked in the juvenile court and DCFS arenas giving him significant insight into the child welfare and juvenile court processes. Mr. Lamb is familiar with and known to court personnel, prosecutors, police agencies, DCFS, and others in the legal community.
In 2012, Mr. Lamb joined JoAnn B. Stringham to form the Stringham & Lamb Law Office. Stringham & Lamb have provided comprehensive criminal defense, parental defense, DUI, divorce services, and other legal litigation services. Mr. Lamb has been a past lecturer on criminal law, sexual assault, and child welfare topics in educational seminars and conferences. He has served in the United States DHS Office for Civil Rights, was appointed by Governor Jon M. Huntsman Jr. to serve on the Eighth District Judicial Nominating Commission, and served on the State Advisory Board for Children's Justice, along with many other boards and committees.
